(1) According to rule 17, after receiving the application for the permit for the use of water resources, the district water resources committee shall carry out the necessary investigation according to rule 18 and publish the information for public information.
(2) After the publication of the notice in accordance with sub-rule (1), if there is any significant adverse effect during the construction and operation of the project related to the use of water resources, any person may make a statement before the relevant District Water Resources Committee within thirty-five days from the date of publication of the notice.
(3) Taking into consideration the responses received as per sub-rule (2), the District Water Resources Committee shall specify the matters to be followed by the concerned applicant in relation to minimizing such significant adverse effects when issuing the permit.
